Engagement Sessions are fun because you get to know your clients better, see their interaction with each other, learn their style and then of course, they can get a feel for us as a photographer, how we shoot, what we shoot, etc. It's always a great thing to get to know your clients style before their Wedding, so you can tailor your work as a photographer for them.
With Steve and Diane, I have actually worked with them a couple times already for other occasions, but with the Engagement, it's a more one on one experience and what I learned is that they like to have fun, laugh, love each and maybe have a beer or two before we start! We had a lot of fun with them, creating a variety of different poses and using all kinds of lighting...natural light, reflector light, flash light. We tried a little of everything and got just that...a fabulous Engagement Session if I don't say so my self!
I'm excited for their Wedding this October, at Edgewood Golf Course: Lake Tahoe! I know we'll have a blast taking pictures all day with all that beautiful scenery in the background and I'm sure they are getting excited as well!
